Lisa at Inspired Designs was a great fit for us when we remodeled the 1970’s kitchen and bath in our new-to-us home. We had definite ideas on layout and general design and Lisa easily came up with a plan that worked beautifully. She was the right mix of hands on while also letting us run with what we wanted. Working with Lisa was an uncomplicated process with all aspects working smoothly. We are extremely happy with the outcome and grateful for her assistance.

Inspired Designs was the best part in the process of building our new home. Lisa helped us design our dream home; from her expertise in cabinetry, to her professional guidance in design, we are so grateful for ALL that Lisa did to help us along the way. I am the most indecisive person, I know nothing about designing a home, and I must have asked Lisa for help on every inch of our home. Lisa was truly a gift to work with. With her advanced technology, she would create floor plans of our vision and bring them to life with visuals, so we knew exactly what we were getting. Lisa had tons of samples so we could match cabinetry designs and wood with countertops. She helped us think about each room from the user perspective. Making each space so much more convenient and livable. She helped us optimize each space. She helped design every inch of our kitchen, bathrooms, and more. Also, Lisa is a dream to work with. She’s organized, prompt, responsive, and forward thinking. Lisa was the best part of designing our dream home! So so grateful for Lisa and her team.

We had the pleasure of working with Inspired Designs on a recent remodel of our 1980's kitchen. Lisa drew up plans for the new kitchen which fit perfectly within our existing footprint. She presented a very nice selection of cabinetry to choose from and she helped us pick out the perfect cabinets and color to brighten up our outdated kitchen.

The cabinets arrived on time, complete and in perfect condition. Scott (contractor) and his crew easily followed and installed to the kitchen layout provided by Inspired Designs.  We are very happy with the look and quality of the cabinets and with the options Lisa presented and helped us pick out. She was also willing to meet with us on several occasions in order to help us confirm final cabinet choices/colors and provided cabinet samples so that we could color match with floor tile and backsplash materials. The overall results are a much brighter, more attractive and user-friendly kitchen space.

I recently purchased a 1963 ranch in need of a major update and redesign and fortunately I hired Lisa to tackle the project. She created an impressive floor plan that transformed a previously cramped, poorly designed space into a practical, beautiful retreat and all within my budget. Lisa is a talented, thoughtful professional who pays attention to detail and keeps her client’s needs and wants in mind. She is a team player and communicated continuously with me through out the renovation process which made the process much easier. If I had a question, thought or concern, she responded immediately. I would highly recommend Lisa without reservation and I am so thankful she has turned my new home into a relaxing, inviting and functional space. She’s the best!

Lisa and her team were able to help us with updating the two upstairs bathrooms that were original from 1992 when our home was built. We could not find a kitchen/bath company that was interested in doing the renovation because it was not going to be a large, expensive, total gut, of the bathrooms. To save on the renovation cost, we wanted to keep the same footprint, but replace the flooring, tub, shower, vanity, lighting and all fixtures in both bathrooms. We kept the existing toilets, since we had just replaced them ourselves. Lisa totally understood and was willing to work with us.  She helped with the design and had custom cabinets made for each bathroom.  Also, since she has a contractor that she works with, Chris, we did not have to try to locate and line-up a contractor ourselves.  We felt comfortable with him and his helpers being in our home while we were at work. They were helpful with suggestions and left the work area clean, at the end of the day. The primary contractor, Chris, even re-packaged and returned the back wall section of a shower unit, for one of the bathrooms, as it was too large to get up the narrow staircase. This allowed us to get a refund on the purchase. Then, he told us of the best local place to get tile for the shower, which we did that evening, and he was able tile the shower the next day! The renovation of each bathroom was coordinated, so we were never without a fully functioning bathroom. Chris also installed new flooring the in the half bath on the first floor, so now all of the bathrooms have updated flooring that we love!  The communication with Lisa and Chris was excellent. The entire process was not stressful at all. We would highly recommend Lisa O'Brien/Inspired Designs to anyone. We are very grateful and happy with how the bathrooms turned out.

Lisa helped my husband and I design our dream home. Lisa is a true expert. Lisa brought out vision to life with her interior design technology. She then took us step by step through the interior design process. She has beautiful vision, she is creative and flexible to your needs and creative design. She makes great points on things to consider when decision making to make sure your space is organized to suit your day to day needs. We have loved working with Lisa on our interior design, cabinetry, countertops and so much more. We asked Lisa for her guidance on lighting, hardware, appliances, tile and more. We couldn't have done it all without Lisa!

Lisa was wonderful to work with. After many revisions to the design, and working with her amazing team of contractors, I have the kitchen of my dreams.

We feel fortunate to have contracted with Lisa and Inspired Designs to create a full renovation of our master bathroom. Lisa demonstrated to us her advanced knowledge of product, color schemes and more importantly, the ability to coordinate with our contractor. Lisa regularly checked in with us and was on site to ensure that the project was progressing as agreed and she could not have been more accommodating.

From the technical side, Lisa was outstanding. Equally important was Lisa's ability to relate to us and provide clarity and understanding as the project progressed. She regularly demonstrated patience, understanding and empathy making the process seamless.

I was very pleased with the kitchen design that Lisa O'Brien completed for us last year. She has excellent ideas and understood exactly what I was looking for in a new kitchen. When I was unsure of a specific part of the plan, she offered perfect suggestions. She was very pleasant to deal with.

I’ve been working with Lisa from Inspired Designs for the last 4 years now as a General Contractor with my company Interior Woodcraft. Her communication, attention to detail, willingness and support to make sure that the customers project is a success is outstanding.

I have been working with Lisa over the past 6 years including development projects and my personal residence renovation. Lisa has supplied kitchens, baths and bedroom cabinet systems across all of my projects. The results across all of the projects were excellent and met the intended need.  What really separates Lisa from other designers is her ability to communicate both written and oral, but her attention to the detail of EVERYTHING is superior. She takes the right amount of time upfront to plan and make sure the dimensions of the space are crystal clear.....this matters of course in the size of the cabinets but more importantly in the execution/installation at the very end. All of my projects had flawless execution in the end because of the time taken up front to prepare and manage the detail at that point.  The last point i would make about working with Lisa is she creates the right professional tension to go back and forth and have open discussion what is required to make sure expectations are met.  She pushes back at the right timing points to make sure everything is understood fully by both sides before a final decision. An absolute pleasure working with Lisa and would recommend her moving forward to anyone.

A year and half after move-in, I had a problem with one drawer and she addressed it immediately and corrected the issue. Lisa was a great choice.”
